Abstract
The module implements a Operating component (1 GSM modem controller).

The GSM module receives code numbers and control commands through a connected GSM modem. This feature of the ELM system permits users to open handles from any DTMF (Dual Tone Multiple Frequency) phone system. The called ELM system guides the caller with signal tones.

The module can optionally send a SMS to a configured phone number if one ore more of the following changes apply:

  • a Handle was opened 
  • a Handle was closed 
  • Alarm 1 becomes active 
  • Alarm 1 becomes inactive 
  • Alarm 2 becomes active 
  • Alarm 2 becomes inactive

Housing Versions
3000-U10-00 is supplied unencapsulated, but in a housing rail for top hat rail mounting, and is intended for single wire connections ("KIT").
3000-U10-01 is supplied only as a build-in part of a 19’’ rack mount unit.
3000-U10-02 is supplied encased in a closed housing with a plug connector system ("BOX").

The delivery set includes a GSM modem (see below), a GSM antenna and installation instructions. Currently supported GSM modems are the dual band modems Falcom A2D-1 and Siemens TC35 (see below). Support for other modems on demand.

Dual Band GSM 900/1800 MHz

The modem will be delivered complete with a RS232 cable and an additional cable with RJ12 plugs for connecting to the GSM module, installation accessories and instructions. 

A GSM SIM card is needed for operation. A subscription to the respective mobile phone provider is necessary.

GSM Modem Falcom A2D-1

Dual Band GSM 900/1900 MHz

The modem will be delivered complete with a 50 cm cable with two RJ45 plugs for connecting to the GSM module, installation accessories and instructions. 

A GSM SIM card is needed for operation. A subscription to the respective mobile phone provider is necessary.

Antenna on a magnetic base for wireless communication and cable (3 meters) for connecting to a GSM modem.

Peripherals and accessories for the module base platform

CAN/Power cable for connecting "KIT"-modules

Cable with CAN-plugs at both ends for connecting two "KIT"-housing versions of ELM modules. The cable is for CAN-Bus signal transmission as well as for power supply. Several standard lengths are available. Other lengths on demand.
